Anime Soulborn Mounts

Mounts are how you stop walking. The official Anime Soulborn description puts them in the same breath as items: collect mounts, equip items, explore the world. The trailer and early-access footage show a bright island with mesa gaps. A mount is a speed item with a model. It is not a second pet. If your pet bar is empty, do not buy a dragon. How to actually unlock the first one is how to get mounts. This page is the roster logic and the spend rule.

Public launch was 4 September 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. Place ID 132005092093329, group X Studio G2. Confirm the experience name before you spend souls that belong to a gate.

What a mount is allowed to do

• Raise walk / fly speed between packs.
• Look expensive in a screenshot.
• Sometimes carry a tiny luck or drop line. Read the tooltip. If it does not mention speed, souls, or luck, it is a jacket.

What a mount is not allowed to do on launch week, unless the live card says otherwise:

• Attack dummies for you. That is pets.
• Replace Auto System. Auto System is a 169 Robux idle pass. A mount still needs you to steer.
• Open a world by existing. Gates take souls. See how to spend souls.

Pets leash poorly when you zoom around. Hop off in the pack. The harvest souls route assumes you are planted, not touring.

When to buy the first one

Buy after all of these are true:

1. Pet slots are filled and Equip Best has been eyeballed — how to get pets.
2. The current pack dies in a few pet cycles.
3. You are wasting time walking between two packs that are both worth standing in.
4. The mount price is less than about fifteen minutes of your current souls per minute.
5. You are not in the middle of a timed potion.

If any line is false, the souls belong to a gate or a hero node.

How mounts drop or sell

Launch incrementals usually mix:

• Soul shop (the honest path).
• A rare floor drop, which is why 2x Drops (549 Robux) exists. Only buy that pass if you are hunting swords and stones, not because you want a mount screenshot — items and the planner.
• A limited event shop. No HUD timer, no event. Events stays empty until one appears.
• A code gift. None confirmed. Codes.

VIP (199 Robux) might include a speed line. Read the live tooltip. A chat tag is not a mount.

Ranking mounts without a fake 40-row list

Until the HUD prints stable names, rank functions:

S-looking models with C tooltips are C. The heroes tier list makes the same argument for hair. Thumbnails of Gear 5 and Kid Buu are marketing. They might be mounts, pets, or neither. We will add a named row when the index does.

Mounts versus speed items

Boots, auras, and trails can steal the mount’s job. If a 5% walk charm costs a fraction of the dragon, buy the charm. Do not stack both on day one. Inventory hygiene is on the items page.

After you equip

1. Lock it if the UI lets you, so Equip Best cannot eat it.
2. Ride to the next pack, then hop off.
3. Measure souls per minute. If the number only moved because you arrived faster, the mount did its job. If you keep riding through the dummy, pets stopped printing and you bought a sightseeing tour.

Servers hold 10 players. A flying trail in a crowded mesa is extra lag for everyone. Be the person who plants.

When a named flying mount with a real soul percent lands, this page gets a table. Until then, treat mounts as travel. Dominate still happens on the ground, in a pack, with pets swinging. Getting started is the loop that funds the screenshot.
