Anime Soulborn Pets
How the gacha loadout works, what Equip Best does, and why empty slots hurt more than a "bad" banner.
Pets are the workers. You stand in an NPC pack, they swing, souls appear. Anime Soulborn’s shop is built around that idea: Fast Pet Attack, 2x Pet Sword, Fast Roll, +1 Gacha Roll. If you treat pets like a side collection, the island will feel broken. It is not broken. Your slots are empty.
This page is the system. How to actually obtain the first loadout is how to get pets. Rankings are on the pets tier list. Farm routing is on how to harvest souls.
Slots and Equip Best
Open the pet menu as soon as the HUD loads. Count the glowing slots. That number is your cap for now. Level, VIP, or a future pass may add more — we will note that on updates when it is real.
Equip Best is your friend on day one. It will mis-equip a pretty C over a boring A if the sort is cosmetic. After the first auto-equip, glance at rarities and swap by hand. Then lock the good ones so a later auto-equip cannot eat them.
Empty slots are worse than a “wrong” pet. Fill every slot before you chase a secret.
How pets deal damage
Two passes name the stats that matter:
- Fast Pet Attack — swing speed. More hits per second on the dummy you are standing on.
- 2x Pet Sword — likely the pet weapon stat. Bigger number per hit.
If a pet card shows both a sword stat and an ability, read the ability. Aura pets want you in the middle of a pack. Single-target pets want you to face the tankiest dummy so they do not wander.
You still need to be in range. Pets in this genre leash. If you mount around the island, they stop printing. Plant, then farm.
Gacha, tickets, and pity
Rolls come from:
- Tutorial / mission chests
- Codes
- Soul shop tickets
- Robux (the +1 Gacha Roll pass, or direct bundles if they exist)
Use tutorial tickets on the standard banner unless a launch limited is clearly stronger and still running. Fast Roll (329 Robux) skips the animation. It does not add a pet. +1 Gacha Roll (169) adds an attempt. If you will spend, extra attempts beat skip potions until you are already at pity.
If you cannot see a pity meter, assume there is none. Stop on a schedule, not on a feeling.
Fusing and duplicates
Do not fuse your first high rarity. Early accounts need a fielded A more than a maybe-S. Fuse when:
- The preview is a guaranteed rarity jump, or
- You already have a locked A/S team and the dupe is a C/B
If the fuse UI is unclear, screenshot it and farm another ten minutes. Launch-week fuse menus get patched.
Secrets and marketing models
Thumbnails show famous silhouettes. The pet index may use different names. We will add a row with a drop method when a secret is actually in the index. Until then, do not pay a reseller for a “Buu pet” file. That is how accounts get stolen.
What to do after a good roll
- Lock it.
- Equip it.
- Walk to a pack and measure kill time.
- If the pack dies faster, you are done rolling for the session.
- If nothing changed, you rolled a cosmetic. Stop.
Then spend souls on a gate or a hero node, not on another ten-pull because the animation looked cool.
Pets print the account. Treat the banner like a tool, not like the game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for launch-week Anime Soulborn questions.
Should I sell pets for souls?
Only duplicates below your fielded rarity, and only if the sell value is worth a gate. Do not sell your last A.
Do pets work while I am mounted?
Often they leash poorly. Hop off in the pack.
Is Auto System a pet buff?
No. It automates your input. Pets still need to be equipped and in range.
Where is the pet index?
In the pet menu. If launch UI hid it, it will appear after the first roll.
