Anime Soulborn Heroes Tier List

Rank evolve branches by harvest power, not by how close the model is to a famous anime lead.

Heroes Tier List

The hero is your avatar’s combat sheet in Anime Soulborn. Pets do most of the swinging. The hero still matters because evolve nodes can add a soul percent, an aura, or a skill that hits a whole pack. Rank branches here, then spend with the evolve guide. If your pets are empty, this list is not your problem yet — go to the pets tier list.

How to read the ranks

TierMeaning on launch week
SEvolve that visibly cuts pack time or adds a soul multiplier
ASolid stat stick, worth buying after pets are stable
BFine side grade, buy if cheap
CCosmetic or tiny numbers
UnscoredOnly exists in key art

We score the node, not the meme. A form that looks like a Super Saiyan is C if it only changes hair.

S — buy when you can afford it

S branches print souls. Typical signs in this genre:

  • Tooltip lists +souls or +damage percent
  • A new ability actually fires on a pack (watch the ground, not the lobby)
  • The form is required to open the next island’s vendor

If two S nodes exist, take the cheaper one first unless the expensive one is a gate. Gates beat vanity.

A — the F2P default

A is the correct stopping point for most accounts on week one. You evolved once, kill time improved, and you went back to the island. That is success. More evolves can wait for the next soul spike from a new pack.

B and C — the trap rack

Shops love to put a cool jacket next to a real node. If the preview does not mention souls, damage, cooldown, or a new button, it is C. Take a screenshot, farm another pack, and see if you still care. You will not.

Unscored art

Official thumbnails show a white-haired brawler and a pink energy fighter. Those might become hero forms, secret pets, or remain marketing. They stay unscored until the evolve UI names them. Do not pre-spend souls “to get Gear 5.” The game may never use that name.

XP gates versus soul gates

If the button is locked on level, XP is the bottleneck. 2x XP at 219 Robux is aimed at that problem. If the button is locked on souls, farm — harvest guide. Buying 2x XP because a YouTuber evolved twice in a video is how you overpay.

VIP (199 Robux) might include XP or soul bonuses. Read the live tooltip and the planner before you stack VIP plus 2x XP plus +50% Souls. You do not need all three to beat island one.

Skills after evolve

New abilities need binds. Check controls and put the skill on a reachable mobile button. An S-tier slam you never press is a B-tier node in practice.

Use skills on clusters. Using a cooldown on the last dummy in a pack is a waste.

Reranking

When X Studio G2 adds a second evolve tree, we will split this page by tree instead of stuffing 40 rows into one S. Until then, keep the list short on purpose. A short honest list beats a fake 30-name board copied from another anime sim.

After you pick a branch, go back to a pack and measure. If souls per minute did not move, you bought a costume. Next purchase is pets or a gate, not another haircut.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for launch-week Anime Soulborn questions.

Is the starter form bad?

No. The starter is fine until a node lists a real percent. Do not evolve just to look different.

Should I copy a YouTuber's final form?

Only if their tooltip matches yours. Preview videos may be early access.

Do hero ranks beat pet ranks?

No. Pets first. Hero nodes multiply a working loadout.

Will you add named characters?

When the HUD shows a stable name. Key art is not a roster.
